I keep getting e-mail, purportedly from Symantec, that Norton Internet Security has expired. It hasn't. I've renewed, and according to you folk I'm good through Sept. 13 2012. These messages come with a RED Windows warning that this is not a valid e-mail. Attached is copy of screen I get.
Hello Carols_Secure and welcome to the Community. I'm sure one of the GURU's will correct me if I try to give you wrong information, but the same thing happened to me when I renewed my NIS2011. I waited until there was about three days left and then entered the new product key and validated my subscription. When I checked my subscription status, it showed I had 365 days left. For the next three days, I received that "At Risk" notice. I think it was telling me my old key was expiring. Could this be what is happening to you? You could go into your Norton Account and check to see if that old key still has any days left on it.

I'd take notice of that Red warning ... there are scams galore around. To insert an image you need to use the icon on the editor toolbar and the Browse to the location of the image on your computer. Follow the instructions and that will insert a copy of your image so you will still have your original. But it takes a while for an image to appear while it goes through moderation and you'll only see a place holder unitl it is cleared.
If your MyNortonAccount shows the correct number of days then I'd ignore / block that email but don't click on anything in it. And don't email them telling them to stop sending them since that just tells them they have a live email address to sell to someone .....
Hi,
If you are Renewing the same product Key you were using you will not get the email Notification. Instead if you are purchasing a New key and Reactivating your Norton eventually you will get the Notification. Because one of the products under your account has expired. I hope i made myself clear....Please correct me if i am wrong XP'rienced guyz...
