Getting error messages when I try to log onto other websites

Since subscribing to Norton 360, when I try to log on to different websites, I now get error messages.  For example, just tried to log on to Consumer Reports' website and got the message:

403 ERROR

The request could not be satisfied.

Request blocked. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner.
If you provide content to customers through CloudFront, you can find steps to troubleshoot and help prevent this error by reviewing the CloudFront documentation.

I am now plagued with "cannot find server" or "cannot connect to server" messages.  I have very limited computer tech knowledge. Is there an easy fix for this?

Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections.

So if you are using the VPN feature in 360, this could be what you are seeing.

If the sites work without the VPN, try contacting the Support department for that/those sites to see if they have any work around for VPN users.

as test: Consumer Reports Sign In with Norton 360 Secure VPN On

Did you try with Norton 360 Secure VPN Off ?

Maybe, you registered with VPN Off and Consumer Reports does not recognize you with VPN On.
Maybe, Consumer Reports wants to know your real location.
