I'm pretty new to Norton 360, my dad got it for me when we upgraded my system 2 months back. I had used AVG previously. Anyway there's an issue I keep having that is becoming very annoying to me that I hope to correct.
Norton keeps false-flagging game mods I download as viruses, particularly as trojans or adware/spyware, while I've managed to get it to keep from auto-deleting these files and ask me first, it's annoying to have to deal with every time. I do a lot of extensive modding with games like Skyrim where I download literally hundreds of mods, so adding each mod individually to exclusion lists is not something that appeals to me at all, and due to how I install mods through a program that virtually maps them to the game drive, I'm worried how quarantines, even temporary might interfere with the download and installation process (also handled by the same program).
Is there a more broad way for me to create exemptions for these files? I am presuming the false positives I keep getting are due to how the mods alter the base game, in sometimes significant ways.
