I had a 500Gb Lacie USB drive that I was backing up to from my Dell Workstation for two years with Norton Ghost 10.0 and it worked fine.
After the Lacie crashed, I just purchased and installed a new WD Book 1Tb USB drive and have a very large H drive that I am trying to back up first on the new WD backup drive. I have tried several times in the base and other subdirectories of the WD USB drive and I constantly get the error message that there is not enough disk space and the destination drive is no where near disk space issues nor is the drive where the original files are stored. This is a software problem that I cannot figure out. Other smaller drives on my system have been backed up fine to the WD USB so the software works when the drive of origin does not have 40Gb of data like the H drive.
If anyone can tell me what they think is going on I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
