I have tried to restore a known good restore point (ie. one that has restored ok before) from my 2nd internal IDE drive and it failed about 6% into the restore with error EA 39070A, claiming that the image was corrupted. So I tried another known good restore point, this time on an external USB2 hard drive, and it also failed at the same point with the same error.
As I have recently upgraded my memory from 1GB to 2GB, I decided to revert to my original 1GB and both restore points now restore ok.
So my question is this. Is it possible that the new memory is faulty or does Ghost 10 have a problem with more than 1GB of memory on XP? I would like to keep the 2GB in there as I also run Vista on this machine via a spare plug-in C: drive.
If it's Ghost 10 that's the problem I could upgrade to Ghost 14 but then if my new memory is faulty that would be pointless as I would probably get similar problems with it. Has anyone tried Ghost 10 restore on XP with 2GB memory? Thanks in advance for any help.
