Hello,
So here is the situation:
2x 800 GB drive mirrored using a RAID card. Configured as one drive to let windows do the partitioning
100 MB System Reserved
c: 500GB Windows 7
h: 200 GB Databases
r: 45 GB Recovery
We Installed windows 7 on the 500Gb drive and it created the MBR just fine in the System Reserved partition. Everything boots as it should. We then installed all out databases to the correct partition and all is well. We then imaged the c and h drives individually and stored them in r. We added a boot.wim to r and use easybcd to create a new boot option to boot to r if a recovery was needed. Everything works great. We can re-image both c and h with no issues. So this being our protype, we need to put this on 230 machines. So we wanted to ghost the entire 800 gb drive and set it down on the other machines. The image goes on with no problems and it will boot into windows 7, but will not boot into the r (recovery) drive even though it used to. After looking in bcdedit, the boot entry for the r drive is missing/incomplete. We have tried multiple iterations of this, but we get the same results. We even tried a sector by sector image which took 20+ hours to make and it still fails. Is there something in ghost 11 that would cause this to be happening?
Also upgrading our Ghost is out of the question at this point.
I hope I explained this well enough.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
