What is the file system on your destination drive? (I think its H: drive as per the error message)?
--Vinod
H: and E: are drives with filesystems other than NTFS etc. -non-readable by Windows Vista for that sake, and they are not used as destination drives at all.
C: (NTFS-partition) is the system drive, and the one I want to create a recovery point for. The destination drive for this is P:, which is a truecrypt-mounted NTFS-formatted partition.
I am doing the recovery point creation on an NTFS-formatted drive, and I do not see why this should cause any problems for Ghost. As to the destination, I do not see why Ghost should care what file system/driver is in action, but rely on Windows instead.
Regards,
Jørgen
Ghost reports all warnings and errors to the Windows Event log. Could you look at the application event logs and check for any warnings/errors from Ghost, Ghost Service, V2i, Volume Shadow Copy Service, etc? Have you run LiveUpdate in Ghost until there are no more updates?
Dear Tony,
Below are the events from the event log, that I could determine would be of interest.
E and H are containing TrueCrypt partitions, that are mounted to other drive-letters, later in the boot sequence. I have since then not used TrueCrypt, but would like to use it, when Ghost is capable of using this. Right now, Ghost just hangs - not a very civilized way of dealing with the problem.
regards,
Jørgen
