GHOST 14 and 15

I have been using GHOST 14 for a long time to do nightly backups to a network attached storage device with no issues. About a week ago I noticed that the new full weekly backups were failing and saying they were not able to access the network storage device. I tried lots of things and they would always fail.

Ghost reported that an update was available and when it downloaded and tried to install that also failed.

Upgraded to GHOST 15, got that installed, backups would still fail.

Checked NAS settings and turned off the setting that  would spin down the drives if inactive for 5 minutes.

Started a full backup of all my drives. It almost immediately went to 5% and then just sat there calculating remaining time. After several hours it was still at 5% and said it was going to take 94 hours to finish?

I stopped this and set up separate backups for each drive as I was worried that I did not have any current backups and wanted to get at least one set on the storage raid array. Drive E and Drive C were able to finish, but took a couple days each. When I started Drive D I noticed that on the storage device a 145 gig backup file appeared almost immediately and it said 5% complete. I checked again the next day when it said 18% complete and the size of the file had not changed at all?

It says it will take 82 hours to finish, and yet it is not actually doing anything that I can see and says copying volume data.

Can someone please tell me why backups that used to complete in 8-10 hours are now taking days when no changes have been made to the storage device, there is plenty of space available, etc?  There is no way that I can wait a week for a backup to finish just to start another one.

Thanks
