I have installed Norton Ghost 14 from the installation CD and did the first backup without problems (I did not run live update prior to running the first backup). After completing the first backup, I ran live update to get the newest version of Ghost. The install went as planned and updated to the latest version. However, When the latest version opens up, it hangs and has a message "analyzing drives". It continues to hang at the home page with this message until the computer is restarted. After restarting the computer and trying the updated version of Ghost 14, still the same result. I have tried running the norton removal tool and reinstalling, however I have the same resulting issue. Does anyone have a workaround for this issue or am I just supposed to run the original ghost 14 (from the CD) until Symantec comes up with a fix for live update and their new and improved version of Ghost. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Running Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit OS on a Dell XPS 410
Thanks
