Thanks Tony,

I finally got the issue resolved.  There was apparently stiil some things from ZoneAlarm and/or Norton products hanging around which I finally got cleaned out.  I'm now running Ghost 14 and only the NAV2008 from Systemworks along with the Comodo firewall.

As far as the BSODs go, I was able to examine the mini-dumps and the indicated offender was symsnap.sys, even after I had uninstalled Ghost and Goback.  Vsmon.sys from Zone Alarm was also offender, but symsnap.sys errors occurred even after I had done a clean uninstall of Zone Alarm.

I'm about to give up on Norton products, even though I've had great success with them in the past.  I've been chasing BSODs for some time because I don't have consistent errors.  I finally traced most of them to ZoneAlarm Pro and some DIMM seating issues.  I've removed ZoneAlarm and the BSODs continue.  I've done a clean uninstall with the Norton Removal Tool (which by the way does not remove all the files or registry entries) then reinstalled the above products.  System is XP Pro with SP3 although the BSODs started before installing SP3.  I've examined the mini-dumps and the most frequent cause is symsnap.sys which I believe is installed by both Ghost and Systemworks.

I'm now running the Comodo firewall and AV apps with no crashes.  I'm testing out several other backup applications do see if they crash my system

The sorry part about that is I still have a year and half on the Systemworks subscription and almost a year on Ghost.  Wish I had only done a year on the Systemworks.

Can you provide any information on the Stop Error codes you receive with the BSODs? Please provide as many details as possible about the error as possible. Thanks!
