I have Ghost 14 set to 'manual' run. I am trying to use a different program that won't work and their tech says that vssvc (volume shadow service) is blocking the other program - XP only allows one use at a time. Anyway, they also say that typically backup programs use vssvc. I don't have anything other than ghost as far as I know that might be doing this. Is it possible that ghost 14 when in manual mode is still making use of the vssvc? If so, how can I stop it from doing so in order to use the other program successfully. THANK YOU!
