Looking for some help with BSoD while configuring LightsOut Restore. Bought Ghost specifically to do a LightsOut Restore and after installing XP Pro w/SP3 and updating all drivers, the Ghost LightsOut Restore Wizard starts copying the SRD files to a temporary location this process goes to 99/100 percent and then Blue Screens with the following: STOP: 0x00000024 (0x001902FE, 0xA9A0F3CC, 0xA9A0F0C8, 0xBA5BA736) NTFS.SYS address BA5BA736 base at BA5BA000
I've run chkdsk /f on all drives and there are no issues. These are new drives, fresh install patched to latest. The boot drive is 1TB SATA with 2 partions and a raid mirror of 2 SATA 320GB drives.
After spending 2 hours 'chatting' w/ nixonraj from tech support, he said uninstall the product, update drivers and reinstall. This solved nothing. Then spent 5 hours 'chatting' with various support individuals yesterday with the same result: uninstall, reinstall, BSoD when setting up LightsOut. I would not recommend chatting w/ tech support for anything other than 'how do i backup a file'. What a waste of my time. Also, they multitask at least three other 'chats' at the same time so responses between actions was minutes on occassion.
Any thoughts from the community?
Thanks!
