I have created my own SRD disk and it won't be recognized by BIOS as a bootable CD/DVD.
System:
Gigabyte GA-EP35C-DS3R F2
BIOS Version V6.00PG
Samsung CD/DVD - PATA
Super Write Master SH-S223 CD/DVD/RAM Writer - SATA
SRD is created by having a blank CD in writer and the Ghost 14 CD in
the CD/DVD Reader. The verify media checkbox is unchecked.
Restarting PC and during boot the CD media is not recognized as bootable.
I have test 2 CD and one DVD.
For verifying the CD/DVD writer's capability of creating a bootable disk
I started Nero and created a bootable DOS CD. Verified BIOS booting
of the CD and that is OK.
The original Ghost 14 CD boot nicely!
So my conclusion is that there is something not right with Ghost 14's
boot image or writing...
