I don't have those numbers anymore. As for finding the drivers, I have looked on MS, Seagate and HP's web sites and have found none. This week I purchased the Acronis imaging software and got a good backup and I am able to restore. With that said, I would still like to get Ghost working, as I still like it over ALL of the ones I have tried. If you can point me to where the 64bit drivers are, that would be great.

Apologies for confusing the issue. You don't need the 64 bit drivers. You only need the 32 bit versions of those drivers. Did you run the driver validation tool to see what drivers you had missing? If not, place the Ghost CD (or first burn the ISO that is a part of the download and then put that CD in) and click on "Run Driver Validation". That will tell you the specific pieces of hard that you need drivers for. It should tell you manufacturer and model. That should be all you need to look on their websites. Many thanks go out to Erik on this. I had to go to the NVIDIA web site and download the 32bit SATA drivers for the SATA controller in my my new HP m9350f Vista 64 bit computer. After the download I created the RD, and when it asked for me to include the new drivers I did. After I burned the new disk, I was able to see all of my local HD's. I was also able to do a full restore of the image I had created back on top of my C drive.

I have been using Ghost for years on 32 bit systems. Yesterday I broke down and bought a new HP desktop that has Vista 64 SP1 installed. I can create backup sets fine, but I can not use the RD to re-image the computer. In chat sessions (twice) with tech support, I was told that RD only works with 32 bit OS's and I needed to get the 64 drivers from the disk manufacturer and/or HP and create a custom RD. I have looked, and not found, any such files and now I am stuck.
I think that Symantec, that states that Ghost 14 IS supported, has mislead me and others into a false belief that this version works. Has anyone out there been able to get a RD built, and if so, how did you do it?

Tech support told me last nite that 64 bit vista was not supported by norton ghost 14. I also had a heck of a time w 32 bit vista (acer aspire) creating an srd. Finally tech support created one but it just spins in the drive and the screen is blank.
My wife runs 32 bit on the acer and i on a hp w 64 bit. I am deeply disappointed that the ghost manual doesnt tell you how to make a srd w 64 bit. IT SHOULDN'T BE THAT DIFFICULT TO RESTORE MY COMPUTER!!!!
I am not that computer literate. Ghost 9 was not difficult at all.
The difficulty here comes from the use of the different OS architecture. Ghost 14 does indeed support Vista 64. The SRD though uses the 32 bit version of Win PE. Any drivers added need to be 32 bit versions of the drivers you’re missing. Have you run through the driver validation that was mentioned earlier?

My problem is when I try to add the drivers, it looks specifically for .inf files. I don't have them, and don't know where to find them. The drivers for the motherboard, for example, come in a self extracting archive (GIGABYTE GBB36X Controller), not a single .inf file.
I'm very lost--please help!
I would suggest going to the manufacturer's site to look for the driver set. They should provide a .zip version, and if not I would contact their support.
WAN Miniport should not be necessary for you unless you plan to store your image on a network location.
How do I know which file it needs? Do I need Chipset or SATA RAID? And after deciding that, which of the several files should I manually choose?
It's kind of a crapshoot from my perspective.
What is your motherboard model? Are you using SATA RAID?

I don't think I'm using RAID. I have several HDD in my case, but each is an independent drive.
I selected an inf file; it showed up as a GIGABYTE GBB36x Controller, but then I got an error message when trying to creat the custom disk:
EC950007 Driver injection failed. I have a screenshot of the error message if you'd like me to send it to you.

Did you download the 64 bit or 32 bit version of the driver? You'll need to ensure you use the 32 bit version as the SRD uses the 32 bit version of WinPE.
The SRD will work on a 32 bit machine. The SRD is the 32 bit version of Vista's Win PE. You need to find the 32 bit versions of the missing drivers and add those during the custom recovery disk process. Did you need assistance with the custom recovery process or where you just having difficulties finding 64 bit versions of the drivers? If you could PM me your case number I'll ensure that the agent is corrected about what type of drivers to add.
Could you clarify what you mean by "doesn't work"? What is the problem you're havnig? Why are you trying to create a custom SRD? Is the drive not seen in the recovery environment? While trying to back up?
