Hi folks, I'm desperate for help. I backed up my specific folders - all my data files and thought everything was fine. Turns out somehow the sv2i and v2i files were never created for this particular backup (system backup worked fine). So now all my data is trapped in fbf files. My work around to date has been to import the backup destination and search for specific files to restore - according to tech support this is "the best" option. Unfortunately, I am not able to locate all of my files using this method - probably because there is an upper limit to the number of files that one can search for. Since there was over 100gb of data, I do not remember the names of all of the folders (let alone files) and so I cannot search for them to restore them.
What I really need is some way to extract everything in this backup and am wondering if there is some recovery utility out there that can help me extract everything out of these fbf files.
As I write this, I am trying to restore some lost data and am having unknown trouble importing the database as I have in the past. If I cannot even search for files I'm really screwed!
I'm desperate - even willing to pay some recovery specialist $$$ to help me restore my data.
