Ghost 14 doesn't backup to a NAS

Hi,

I've seen two threads about this problem but I can't find a way to reply to any of them so I've decided to create a new one -- my apologies if this is not correct...

I've Ghost 14 installed on a Win Vista PC and I'd like to backup it to a Packard Bell Netstore 3500 NAS -- this NAS has a 340 GB hd formatted as FAT32. I've setup a new backup and when N14 asks for path I use the \\<NAS host name>\<share name> (I've also tested with IP address as recommended in some threads but the problem persists). Regarding user id and password, at the present time I don't have this configured on the NAS since I can't define user id on the management console -- the console only allows to define share name and a password. After I press the next button I receive the error messages:

-\\192.168.1.10\Norton_bck\ is a read-only location and is not a valid destination.
--Error E7D1001D: Unable to open '//192.168.1.10/norton_bck/Destination_Location_Test_File'. Error EBAB03F1: The file exists. Error E7D10049: Device norton_bck appears to be offline, disconnected, or otherwise unavailable.

I see that N14 creates a file in the NAS with the name "Destination_Location_Test_File".

I've also tested from Windows Explorer to map the drive and do some file tests to check if Vista was able to write files on that share and the tests worked perfectly. A small detail about mapping the network share drive that is related to the topic of not having a user id, the net use command must have this format:

net use drive <network path> password (if password enabled)

If I use net use drive <network path> then Vista asks for user id and password and as I don't have a user id, it fails to map it ....

Thanks for the support.
