Hello Forum users!
I noticed my E1AD3212 error message; (included in this postings subject line), has been discussed to some length, with other users here.
My question to Norton is this? Why is it up to us PC end users to change our Operating System security settings, in order to be compatable with Norton Ghost 14.0's functionality?
Is is possible for Norton to be compatable with our security settings (user rights / control) upon initial install of Norton Ghost 14.0.
Norton Ghost did finally install on my Vista 32 bit machine. Ghost 14 still continues to fail startup and subsequently back up the Vista 64 machine. {32bit = OK - 64bit = failure) (Ghost 14 did become functional on the Windows Vista-32 bit O.S. machine after receiving some sort of update(s) - as it apperared to me / I am guessing here concerning the update(s) and then Ghost 14 in-operation timing- Do not know for sure)
Summary of this post: Wishing for an out of the box solution to not experience error message E1AD3212.
Thank you for your time and any consideration of my "no error solution request". Not interested in changing my Vista 64 to be compatatable with Ghost 14.0.
Did not read about any Vista 64 compatability issues when I purchased Ghost-14.0.
Symantec support for all Ghost 14 installation errors; request of me to allow installation of Norton site software; in order to snoop and to change things on my PC, I oppose this type of invasion of my privacy. (like "auto login" control software installations)
Bye for now,
Thanks once again,
Concerned customer of Norton products for MANY years!
