Hi, I recently purchased Ghost 14 in hopes of replicating a workflow I have with version 8.3. I'm hoping for better performance mostly. But I can't seem to figure out if this is supported in version 14, doesn't appear to be but I thought I'd check with the experts. I currently have a USB drive that I can boot to a Windows 98 command line. Then, there's a copy of Ghost.exe (version 8.3) on that stick that I can run and create an image of my "golden" computer and then take that stick to another set of computers and perform a mass-restore of that image using that same Ghost.exe tool and my newly created image file.
Is this workflow supported? I first don't see a simple way to create a Vista boot disk. But even if I cross that hurdle will I be able to copy any of the Ghost tools to the drive to perform the workflow above? If instructions are around that would be great, but mostly I want to know if this is possible so I don't waste a lot of time on this if it's not. Thank you.
