This is something that Acronis True Image can do and I wonder if NGhost 14 can do it too.
I download lots of podcasts daily and I'd rather have those ignored for the incremental disk imaging. I don't need those backed up as they change daily and they take a lot of unnecessary space on an incremental backup. For a disk imaging task, how can I set folders to be ignored by NGhost?
There's not a way to exlcude a file or folder from the Disk Imaging, only from the File & Folder backup image job.
However, there are a few ways to get what you want:
1) Move the saved podcasts to a partition other than the one being imaged (this may be more problems with iTunes, though)
2) Change your image-type to a File & Folder Backup, and select all except the podcasts
Please let me know how either solution works for you. Thanks!
