Ghost 14 - Ignore Bad Sectors, Restore Image Fails

Attempting to restore an entire image made from a hard drive with bad sectors. Ghost failed without using the "Ignore Bad Sectors" option.  Ran chkdsk /f on drive.

I made the ghost image using the "Ignore Bad Sectors" option, it appears everything worked as expected.  Swapped out the original hard drive with a new one.

Again it appears the restore works correctly but Windows XP will not boot.  I only get a blinking cursor and blank screen.

The "Make partition bootable" and "Restore MBR" options were both selected on the restore.

Could the bad sectors be causing this? Is there any work around?
