Hello ! I recreated my recover cd - now it worked with the e-sata disk. It seems to have been a problem with my e-sata driver. But now it works again Thanks
Hello - I’m using Ghost 14 for creating complete images of my system disk - I create the images on an internal sata harddisk and on a e-sata harddisk. I experienced following error - when I try to restore the image with the boot cd from the e-sata disk it does not work. The process starts as it should, but after 15-20 minutes I get an error that the operation can’t be finished. If I try the same with the internal sata disk it works without any problem. Does anybody have an explanation for this ? Thanks Mike
Ghost reports all warnings and errors to the Windows Event log. Could you look at the application event logs and check for any warnings/errors from Ghost, Ghost Service, V2i, Volume Shadow Copy Service, etc? Have you run LiveUpdate in Ghost until there are no more updates? This would help to better determine the cause of the problem. Thanks!
