I’ve been using Ghost 14 and Windows XP SP3, current with updates, for some time without problems. I use one physical SATA disk for my partitions, created with Partition Magic, and another physical SATA disk for backup sets. I am currently experiencing the following problems.
1) When I activate Ghost in any way, I see the splash window and nothing else. I used to get the Ghost interface window, but suddenly nothing. I discovered this after the scheduled creation of a new full recovery point on Sunday. I have since deleted that file set and manually created a new full recovery point, but no change.
2) The system tray icon has a red X, status at risk.
To try to resolve these issues, I restored my full recovery point for the C: from the first of October, no change. I removed, reinstalled Ghost and manually created a new full recovery point from the Ghost disk, no change.
Any help would be much appreciacted.
