This information is located in the history files.  Since you have lost all of the backups with the lightning strike you need to zap them since they will show all your backups as unavailable.  To delete the history files you need to do the following:

1)    Run Services.msc
2)    Find Norton Ghost in the list and stop it
3)    Go to :
     - (for XP) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Norton Ghost\History or
     - (for Vista) go to C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Norton Ghost\History
4)    Delete all .PQH files
5)    Go back to the services.msc window and start Norton Ghost.
