Ghost 14 -- VProSvc will not unlock destination file

I use a 500gb USB drive to store my backups. I run only manual backups with nothing scheduled. When the backup (full or incremental) is finished, VProSvc.exe continues to lock the file making it impossible to properly stop and shut down the drive. I've even tried using "Unlocker," which normally will unlock any file, but nothing seems to work.

This behavior has become consistent since I installed NIS 2009. I don't know that it's the fault of NIS 2009 or Ghost 14, but it does appear that at a minimum there is some interaction that prevents normal unlocking of the file when the task is finished.

Does anyone have any ideas?
