OK, first time in here - so be gentle with me. I've got a Dell Dimension 9150 with 2x160 Gb Seagate Barracudas in a RAID 0 array. One of the HDs is failing. I'm using Ghost 14 to attempt to copy the array to a brand new Seagate Barracuda 250Gb.
I've contacted Norton through the Chat and I have a priority id of 493677091 - I usually speak with Mahesh in the Elite team - who's been great - trouble is that this has been ongoing for 4 months. I understand that this issue has been escalated to the engineering team - but I've still had no response.
Right, here's the play at the plate - Ghost 14 (with LiveUpdate) gets all the way through to the end and then says
Cannot complete copying of (C:\) drive
-Error EC8F17B3: Cannot complete copying of (C:\) drive
--Cannot copy source drive to destination location
---At end of something
---Cannot copy source drive to destination location
----At end of something
And thats it - do not pass go do not collect 200 pounds
Anybody got any ideas? I've run all varities of CHKDSK on the source drives, I've tries formatted/unfomatted/unallocated on the destination. Oh and by the way its a Win XP Home with SP3
