Ghost 14

When I select the tools application in Ghost and click on  manage backup destination, I get a message "backup destination unavailable" with the suggestion that the device may be disconnected or not turned on. My destination device is 500gb Western Digital external drive. I close the message  and I am able to access the application, but none of the functions are available: cleanup, move, settings, delete, copy, explore. My backups are written to the device with no problem, its just managing destination device that is not functioning.
