Ghost 15.0 - Can't connect to other computer

Hi,

this is the first time I am using a Norton product and unfortunately its not working as is was proposed on the cartridge.

I have 2 computers running Windows XP. Backing up the compters on their own is working fine but I cannot connect to the other.

Installing the agent automatically fails with an error

-Error E0D3EBC0: Cannot deploy the Agent to (computername).

--The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)

After installing Ghost on both computers it should have the "agent" whatever installed, too. So I tried to connect and Ghost always tells me to enter a username/password. No matter what username I enter. I also tried every combination of computername\username thats possible, even if not logical. It keeps asking for a valid username and password.

The computers have the following user accounts:

PC_1:

User

ghost

PC_2:

User

ghost

Firewalls have been deactived, actived with exceptions and without. I am running out of ideas what to try next. :(

Any advice?

With kind regards

Martin

Thanks for that reply.

That's what i made sure, to have passwords for every user account. That didn't solve the problem.
