After my motherboard died and I could not get a replacement, I upgraded and went from Vista to W7. So obviously I can't do a disk restore, but I need to recover some files that Ghost 15 has saved to an external HD. If I run Ghost, I can use the Explore function to find the files. However, they are not accessible via the listed recover points - the disk data was saved to folders outside the save points. And, of course, the Explore function doesn't allow me to move, paste or copy the files. So, how do I get them?
For what it's worth, I previously used a raid setup, and while the new motherboard doesn't support this, the guy who did the system setup formatted the second hard drive (now drive E:), thereby destroying that copy. I'm not happy with him. But. Can I do a restore to that drive? That is, can I restore what Ghost thinks is drive c: data to drive E:?
