Ghost 15 Conflict with PCI Card

Product conflict with:

VANTEC UGT-IS100R 4+1 SATA II 300 PATA PCI-E COMBO HOST CARD W/ RAID

http://www.vantecusa.com/front/product/view_detail/388

Try to load original Ghost 15 Recovery Disk from CD. The disk loads and once it is done a MS window screen appears with a typical microsoft loading bar. It is perpetual and doesn't stop even after all the drives including the optical stop spinning.

When using the same disk on two other computers the disk works fine and as expected.

Thought the problem was with a JMicron driver...

In creating a customized recovery disk, 2 Storage and network drivers appear:

   - JMicron JMB26X Controller (unusable 64-bit driver)

   - WAN Miniport (IKEv2) (Unusable 64-bit driver)

Loaded the current 32-bit drivers from JMicron (ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/XP_Vista_Win7/):

JMB36X_WinDrv_R1.17.52_WHQL.zip

Continued with creating recovery disk.

 Problem persists.

Attemped another disc using (outdated?) Windows 7 drivers for JMicron:

JMB36X_WinDrv_R1.17.47WHQL_WIN7.zip

Problem persists.

Removed the Vantec PCI card and rebooted attempting to use the original Ghost 15 Recovery Disk from CD.

Success!

Ghost program loads as expected without the Vantec PCI card installed.

Looked in the BIOS for a place to disable the PCI card. There appear to be no settings available to be able to do that.

PROBLEM: How to get the Ghost 15 Recovery Disk working without removing the PCI card every time before doing a system restore?

Any solutions utilizing the current Vantec PCI card would be greatly appreciated!

Many Thanks,
