Ghost 15 - I have a 500GB NAS drive I perform my files & folders backup to. The drive is mapped as L: No password or login is required for the drive.
Running MS Vista 32bit Home Premium. This is on a home network with no/limited security. NAS drive is a 500GB IOMega Storcenter drive.
After completion of a files & folders backup, Ghost 15 doesn't see the files it backed up.
On the Home page, the Backup Destinations graph (lower left side) shows 191GB in Other Used Space, and 274.1GB in Free Space. There is no green space showing th amount of "Backed Up" files.
I then go to Tools - Manage Backup Destinations. Used space shows the same as above. At the bottom of the window "Space used for file and folder storage" shows as 0 bytes.
Why doesn't Ghost 15 (same problem I had in Ghost 14) shows the Files & Folders backed up files properly? How will Ghost 15 manage the backup destination once it reaches capacity if it doesn't know it put files on the drive?
Very frustrated Symantec doesn't have this figured out. Is there something wrong with Ghost 15, with Vista settings, with my NAS drive settings.
