Ghost 15 drive copy for recovery - Need help!

I'm old enuf to have used Ghost to create OS HDD images with tray mounted disks that could be swapped after a problem and be back in business in about 30 secs, minus any data keystrokes that I failed to have backed up.  That was years ago!  I've had trouble getting this working again, but am still trying.

I'm on a Dell Dimension 520 running Win7 with two identical HDDs using Ghost 15.  I've had multiple failures and have tried the forums and help, but no joy.  I want to run the copy of Disk0 to Disk1, marked copy MBR, then select Disk1 from the BIOS to boot.  Got a lot of "bootmgr missing" failures; latest failure after unallocating the Disk1 and not allowing a drive designation during the copy operation is that the BIOS does not respond to the F2 and F12 to provide a boot option.  The boot only sees the original location of the OS and boots there.

Obliviously I'm missing something.  A friend using Acronis reports that he has this scheme working, and I've seen reports of happy Ghost users apparently successful using this plan.  Happy to send or add any data that will be helpful, but I've only got today and tomorrow to work this problem before I'm gone for two weeks.

I'd appreciate help and TIA,
