Ghost 15 Error EA3905FE: Cluster not allocated

I backed up my 750GB Windows 7 64 bit hard drive using Norton 15.  I went into advance and checked the box regarding bad sectors.  The backup file was written out just fine.  Received my replacement 750GB Hard drive from Dell.  Booted the PC with the Norton CD and then started the restore (Check the Master boot record and the other options).  File runs through the entire restore process.  The recover my computer wizard bar was 100% complete when I saw this message....

ERROR EA3905FE: Cluster not allocated.

I clicked finished and it then rebooted the PC.  When it tried to boot it failed and mentioned missing BCD.  Restarted with the Windows 7 Repair disk and told it to repair startup problems but still had the same result.

I give up.  This is the first time I had to restore a disk.  What am I doing wrong.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
