Ghost 15 fails to store Norton Internet Security 2010 definition files

My Setup:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

Norton Ghost 15.0

Norton Internet Security 2010 v17.1.0.19

Ghost installed on clean machine with no other imaging program ever loaded

Problem:

When I make a hot backup the virus definition files in NIS are not stored.

When I make a cold backup from the CD they are stored.

When I restore from the hot backup all the definitions are missing which results in having to re download 50MB of data.

When I restore from the cold backup all is correct.

Tried:Turning off Norton Product Tamper Protection (made no difference)

Just out of interest uninstalled Ghost and tried a hot backup using a competitors program and it worked perfectly.

All above is for info only to anyone with similar problem.

It is a pity because otherwise I find the program perfect.  :smileyindifferent:
