I have been using Ghost 15 for a while on a windows 7, 64 bit machine. Recently the program was not finishing when backing up to one of my backup drives. All the various email messages were being sent (starting up and finishing), however the program seemed to hang at the very end. It did however work when backing up to another drive.
I reformatted the backup drive but this didn't help.
I deleted the history file (as per a previous post in this forum) but this didn't help either. It did only appear to delete part of the history, deleted the files and folder history but not the disk backup history. The history files I deleted were stored under C:/Programdata/Symantec/Norton Ghost/History
I reinstalled the software and this didn't help
They only thing that worked was to remove the software and all the settings and then reinstall.
I don't want to have to go through this again if I get the same fault, so does anybody have any ideas.
My Ghost is version 15.0.1.36526 which live update insists is up to date.
