I have had a version of GHOST on my old computer for a long time. Only 80GB HDD (C-drive), with external, direct-connect-to-computer USB back-up drive (also 80GB) for GHOST. Generally, in the past, it takes around 35-minutes to do a "New Recovery Point Set" in GHOST.
Also, I use NIS 2013. And about a month ago I inadvertently did an "Insight Optimizer" (defrag of C-drive, I think) in the "Tasks" window of NIS. Ever since then the GHOST full recovery point takes around 75-minutes, not 35-minutes.
I've checked the defrag utility in windows and it says that the C-drive does NOT need to be defragged.
Any ideas on why GHOST is taking so long to run now?
Tks for any thoughts.
