Hello, all
I just purchased and installed the full version of Ghost 15 yesterday (I was using 12.0 prior). During the install, it uninstalled version 12.0 and I kept my settings (I think Jobs, backups, etc).
My problem is that even though my first 15 full computer backup worked, and I can click on recover my computer and see the recovery point, something just is not right. This makes me nervous that the recover point will not appear when I desperately need it!
I have searched for similar issues, but have not found any on the forums.
Here are the issues:
1). On the Ghost Home screen, in the Backup Destination graph, the graph is showing my backup data as "Other used space." - there is no backup data (green color) shown
2). When I go to Tools->Manage Backup Destination the recovery point set is NOT listed in the browser
3). When I go to "recover my computer", my last true backup set shows up, but it also has 47 other recovery points that I can display, that no longer exist (I removed them).
What I did was delete my old recovery points, and I believe when I first went to recover my computer, Ghost noticed that they were gone and asked me if I wanted to restore or remove them permanentely and I removed them permanentely.
Any ideas on what is going on? I am simply backup up two 1TB drives (one internal, and one external) to an external 1TB drive. I have ran it this way in Ghost 12 for several years now. I only have 1 backup job that does this backup of both drives at 1:00 every morning.
I would like to somehow "reset" ghost to make all screens/functions match - that is, make my backup data and recovery points show correctly in all screens and functions.
Thanks in advance,
Rob Catron
