Ghost 15 on XP: Files backup fails with snapshot error %1, EBAB03F1, 2147754767

I had Ghost 14 and it worked fine.  I upgraded to Ghost 15.  The full image backups work, but the file backups fail with this error:

 

Snapshot error %1

Error EBAB03F1

OS error 2147754767

 

In the Windows App log is this:

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error creating the Shadow Copy Provider COM class with CLSID {65ee1dba-8ff4-4a58-ac1c-3470ee2f376a} [0x80040154]

 

So far I've uninstalled and reinstalled Ghost 15, no difference.

 

I also have NIS 2010 on this PC.

OK, I got a solution:

 

In researching this issue, I found that "MS Software Shadow Copy Provider" was missing from the list of services. 

I found this website: http://www.2brightsparks.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=932

 

On this page is a file called "vssrepair.bat" – I downloaded it and ran it, and after reboot, the "MS Software Shadow Copy Provider" was back. I have no idea why the upgrade from Ghost 14 to 15 broke this, but I am now able to do backups again.
