I have been running Norton Ghost 15 on my Win Vista machine for a while now. The machine has both a C: and D: hard disk. I do a full image backup of the C: drive, but have only done File Backups for the D: drive as I mostly just used it for data files. These backups were done to an external USB drive.
Recently, Norton Ghost was accidentally removed from the machine and it had to be completely reinstalled. I now need to recover some of the backed up files, but this new installation of Ghost does not seem to be able to see the files on the external USB drive. The .fbf folders are buried a few directories down and it looks like I may have named the root directory, not the original Ghost program. Is there a way to point Ghost at those files or otherwise recover them?
Have gotten great support here before and look forward to any help you can provide! Thanks.
