I have been backing up Win 7 with Ghost 15 without a Recovery Disk, as when I tried I recieved notice that three drivers could not be used, as they were 64 bit and that Ghost 15 only uses 64 bit. I have been diligently searching for these but unable to fnd them. Its a Toshiba A505 S-6033 laptop, and the files are:
Ricoh PCIe xD-Picture Card Controller
WAN Miniport (IKEv2)
Realtek RTL8191SE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E
Numbers 1 and 3 have the same driver for 32 bit and 64 bit, but Ghost conitnues to reject them when instlalled. I was unable to locate a match for the wan Miniport (IKEv2).
I would really appreciate any assistance anyone might provide. I was thinking of skipping over them but read that wasnt a good idea
Thanks for the info regarding drivers. I suspected as much but no ;way to verify unitll reinstall time (restore). I'll go with this and hopefully no speed bumps (at least here) Thanks a bunch.
The recovery enviroment does not support Wifi and it doesn't need any miniport drivers. I'm not sure what the first one is but I'm guessing a memory card for your camera or something.
The only necessary drivers would be drivers to access your hard drives (if needed) and network drivers for a wired connection only if you intend to make or restore images over a network.
