I just purchased Ghost 15 to copy a windows installation from an older computer to a newer one.
The source system is a Dell Optiplex GX260 with an IDE 80GB drive
The target is a Dell Precision 390 with a 160GB SATA drive.
The operating system is windows XP sp3
when the restore gets almost done a window opens asking to insert the recovery disk. I have read on this site that this is a bug in WinPE and can be ignored. I cancel out and reboot but get the following error:
Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information.
