Ghost 15 recovery point browser displays nothing in "All Users"

I've just discovered a very disturbing problem.  When I use the recovery point browser, Users\All Users is empty!  All other user folders appear to be fine.  I checked all my backups and they all show the same thing.  The hard drive itself shows there is plenty of information in that folder.  What's going on here?

The system is WIndows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit on a Dell XPS8300.

boolean,

There was a post about this recently and it turned out the poster was looking at a different folder. Mount the image and compare folders.

Turns out "All users" is a shortcut to C:\PorgramData, and that my backups do have information for that folder.  Microsoft has done it again.  Why do they keep stuffing things up so much?  Rhetorical question so no need to answer.

Hi,

Rhetorical response - because they can?

On my PC, that folder is actually a shortcut to C:\Program Data. I'll bet yours is too. Right click the folder in Windows Explorer and you'll see.

Yes you are correct; well almost.  My mistake, I have fat fingers.  On mine it's C:\ProgramData (ie, without the space).

I'll probably forget all this in a few months and panic again :smileymad:

Not to worry. We have some panic pills around here someplace.:smileywink:

Yeah, mine doesn't have the space either. I guess that's what I get for typing instead of copy / paste.

That's someting I learnt a very long time ago when I was configuring Cisco routers.  Always use copy/paste to avoid mistakes.  I've grown too lazy lately and dropped that habbit.  I should go back to it.
