I'm using Ghost 15 running XP SP3 on a Lenovo laptop in a Docking Station. I have the C:\ drive and two external USB drives, E:\ and J:\.
E:\ is used for data. J:\ is the Destination Drive for all backups. I have been backing up C:\ and E:\ to J:\. Everything was fine until I started attaching and removing a smaller USB drive for temporary storage. Drive Letter E:\ became F:\. So I missed a few days backup.
I defined a new backup job for F:\ and at the same time changed some Destination Directory names. To clean things up, I manually deleted all of the Recovery Point Sets for E:\ and the Backup job that pointed to E:\..
Now when I try to define a New Backup job for F:\, the only option available is Independent Recovery Point.
Ghost says: You can only have one recovery point set defined for each drive. The Recovery Point Set option is not available if you have already assigned a selected drive to an existing backup and specified Recovery Point Set as the recovery point type.
How can I get back to doing Incremental backups for F:\ ?
The C:\ backups are working fine and I would prefer not to blow the C:\ Recovery Point Sets away and start over.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
