Forgive me if this has been answered.
I searched but found nothing.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate w/SP1 x64 & 4 gb ram.
I've replaced, added drives, & repartitioned numerous times in the past years.
I can't install and use Ghost because it will restore to the wrong drive and overwrite (destroy) everything on it with the image.
I have the issue on both of my pc's.
I have to backup and restore using the SRD.
I've tried Ghost 15 SP1 with the same result.
Anyway, if I launch Ghost and choose to restore C:System, pc boots to Ghost and restores.
After it boots back up, I have 2 C:System drives.
I have the correct untouched C:System drive and a new one which Ghost has incorrectly restored to.
This partition is typically one I keep my movies on and twice in the past I've lost everything because of this issue.
I gave up a long time ago and as I've said, backup and restore with the SRD.
Any ideas?
