Installed Ghost 15 and rebooted. After login, the hard drive goes into constant activity and the computer becomes unresponsive. I can see cursor movement when using the mouse, but any clicks don't seem to be registered. Eventually (after hours of this), the computer BSOD's. If I reboot into safe mode and use msconfig to do a selective startup where the Norton Ghost service is disabled, the system boots fine and works as it should. The OS is XP Pro with all patches and optional software available from Windows Update installed except fo the Smartcard stuff.
The funny thing is that once I'm logged into windows after the selective startup, I can enable the service and everything is fine until the next reboot. FWIW, the computer also has Symantec Endpoint Protection installed (required).
Any help would be appreciated.
