I attempted to run a data-only backup with Norton Ghost 15 SP1. The size of the backup is 41Gb, with one folder, 3,645 sub folders and 52,199 files. The attempted backup ran very slow, such that it indicated that the backup would take approximately 68 hours. When I do a complete image backup of my computer is only takes about two hours. Any idea why the data backup is so slow and what I can do to resolve the issue?
I am running Ghost on a six-month old Toshiba laptop, with an Intel Core i3-330M 2.13 GHz processor, 4GN memory, a 500HDD running Windows 7.
