I am running Norton Ghost 15.0.1.3652 on a Windows 7 Professional 64-bit machine with 8 Gb of RAM. I have two tasks set up.
The first backs up my entire system drive, including the restore partition. This runs OK.
I do not keep the My Documents folder on my C drive. I have an external, USB connected drive dedicated to My Documents and my Quickbooks files.
My second backup job is backing up this second drive.
I should also mention that I sync this drive, using allway sync, however, in the past there was no problem running both.
Both backups are saved to the same network attached hard drive. Both backups also create a full backup on the first of every month and incrementals in between.
About 3 days ago the Documents drive began hanging at 1%, eventually giving me the error message that it was unable to create the backup. No additional information is given.
Ghost shows that is connected to this second drive.
So far I have tried stopping then restarting the Ghost service and that hasn't helped. Any thought would be greatly appreciated.
