Ghost 15 - Windows 7 - Cold Imaging

Greetings,

Our company has been using Ghost 2003 to clone our PCs for quite awhile. We have currently moved from XP to Windows 7. We were unable to continue to use Ghost 2003 to image the Windows 7 stations. We have upgraded to Ghost 15.

After spending some time with figuring out that I needed to use Windows Vista 32-bit Network drivers for my Cold Imaging disk, I created my first backup.

The current stations are HP Pro 3000 SFF. These contain three partitions - the 2 Windows partitions and 1 HP Recovery partition. I backed these up into 3 *v2i files.

I then swapped machines, booted to the custom SRD and attempted to recover the three partitions. I am getting the Load Recovery Disk error that I read the large thread on.

Could SOMEONE please outline the correct way to go about copying the drive from Station A (Our Base Image) then restoring that Image to Station B. (Identical Hardware). I have no issue with needing to reactivate keys, changing PC names, rejoining domains, etc.

Thank you.
