As the title states. I had a heck of a time getting the restore process to work AT ALL (Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit). After reading here I did manage to get a new 2TB disk (for the C: partition) installed, recovered from the backup using the CD (it auto selected both the SRP and the C: to restore.) once the restore completed, it would not boot so I had to do the recover my computer with the windows install disk.
Now all is right with the world and the system boots fine but what has happened is the disk has been restored with the original partition size 300GB *THEN* the SRP (100mb) then 1.5TB of unallocated space that I cannot expand from C: (it's greyed out)
I will not just create a logical partition at the end. Just call me anal retentive ok? I want the unallocated space to become available drive space in the C: partition. And I really don't want to have to go out and buy 3rd party software to do this ONCE, ok?
How can I do this?
Thanks.
