Ghost 8.0 fails to run and locks computer

I try to recover a disk drive from a backup image. When I start the computer booting from the CD-Drive with the Ghost recovery disk, everything works ok until I click on the "Advanced recovery tasks" in the main menu. Then the computer locks (Dell Inspiron 130B, also Dell Inspiron 1200) The "Scan for Viruses" and "Check for disk errors" features work ok. Any suggestion what's wrong and how can I correct it ?

Im using WinXP/SP3 and Ghost 9,0.0.2583

The product works on another computer(MSI 100 with WindowsXP/SP3)
