Ghost 9 on Win XP giving EC8F000E and EC8F000D

I'm running Ghost 9 on Win XP SP3, attempting to do a backup to a networked drive. For the first time it's throwing error messages.

A minute and 7 seconds into it i get:

"Backup of D:\, C:\ did not complete successfully.

Error EC8F000E: Cannot create a Virtual Volume Image of the requested volumes. Error EC8F000D: The Virtual Volume Image driver cannot complete the IOCTL_VSNAP_SET_COMMIT command. Error 0000079: The semaphore timeout period has expired.

Unspecified error"

There's plenty of room on the receiving drive. Nothing to my knowledge has changed on the receiving drive, and I should know as it's my home network.

What the heck is going on?
